DOES ANYONE HAVE THERE OWN PERSONAL AUTHORITY AND DRIVE FOR THERESELF? IS THIS REALLY A MONEY MAKER? I'D LIKE SOME INFO. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?!

Most of your questions will center around whether you have your own contacts whether through brokers,carriers or your own accounts.
If you don't, it will be a tough path to go down. It can be done but is very difficult. In addition to the above, you will have much higher costs throughout than leasing to a carrier.
If you are just jumping in, drive for someone to learn the business. If you already have equipment, lease to a carrier.

I have looked at this many times. I have also been involved with Family owned businesses that did carry thier own authority. DaveKC said it. If you have your own contacts it can really work if not, I would not waste the time. Simply getting your money for your haul can be a big problem.
There is somewhat of an issue of experience as your own business. Many folks will not trust you with the freight. They are the ones who really do good business and do background checks on your numbers. The ones that just give you freight no real questions asked, tend to be the ones that you can not find to collect your money.
I looked at all the cost for insurance and all the headaches and compared it many times to simply running with a carrier. I run with a carrier and I think for good reason. Talk to some O/O that have done it a while it seems to me that some do well but many wish they never stepped in it. Good luck
