having headaches in the industry of expediteing so was I until I ran across the world of truck transport. I earn 110,000 a yr. and I don't even own a truck. Tired of waiting on A LOAD wait no more. I transport new trucks at .75 cents a mile and I do not pay for fuel or expenses. Wake up guys here is your chance to choose your loads instead of someone telling you where to go and when to be there. I have found heaven and I am home as much as I want to be. If you are tired of the waiting wait no more. you only need class b to get started. call malone at 832-452-4759 :7

Your post is interesting; however, if you own a company that hires drivers, you should post items such as this in the free classified section. If you are merely sharing info on a particulary good trucking venture about which our members might have an interest, then post away.

Now for a little truth in advertising! Since you mention your very appealing gross revenue, how 'bout sharing the net with us. You certainly have unreimbursed expenses. What might they be? How do you get your trucks to transport and how do you get to the next job? Do you have to return to the original shipper after each run?

We've met many drive-away folks over the years and most seem to enjoy the lifestyle. We look forward to a response from you or others that may be, or have been, involved in your line of over the road transportation

I don't know about this particular offer, but most truck transporters piggyback the tractors...requires a Class-A AND Doubles/Triples endorsement...and when you complete the delivery, you have to arrange your own transportation home (the lead tractor is usually part of the total shipment)...perhaps this is something different...I'd like to hear more about this "HEAVEN"...

I believe it's Swift that uses motorhomes to get the drivers back. I have heard they may wait a day or two to get picked up and then a few more to drive back across the country so they lose out on a lot of driving time between loads but that's just hearsay.

I agree with Terry on this one.
I wouldn't want to rain on anyones parade, but most of this type of hauling is one way hauling.
Of course, there is a first time for everything.
It would be my guess that .75 cents per mile, doesn't cover ALL miles. Most of these drivaway programs are like that.
Your shipment miles is all that is covered.
The other deadhead and return milage is on your own dime.

One of my ex drivers went into this line of work. Two months later the poo had hit the fan. They pulled their own vehicle to get home in or they had to bus or fly at their expense.$0.75 a mile one way. They were out of that in no time. It is not heaven from what I know of it

Yeah hey, no kidding. I have been wondering about that kind of work myself. Hopefully we will hear some more about this subject.

I know couples that deliver new RV's . The husband will tow a railer and the wife will drive a motorhome going to the same dealer or one enroute . Yeah , they have to deadhead for the next load but they got transport pay for 2 vehicles . I guess a couple could have a 4 cyl. vehicle to tow and just deliver 2 motorhomes .

What's that old saying? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This sounds way too good to be true. The way business has been, I'd sure be interested if it was true....no strings attached.

RV delivery is certainly an intriguing business, but I was talking to a recruiter one time and I mentioned I had a family and she got quiet and then said that she wouldn't want to be responsible for me not being able to support my family. She said they prefer retired people simply because they typically do not depend on the work to pay their bills.

If someone is grossing $110,000 doing driveaway work, I assume that means they are driving 147,000 miles or so on the delivery side (which is what you would need at .75 per mile to gross $110,000) and then driving or riding (Greyhound passes are a popular way to deadhead) at least another 147,000 miles to get back. Of course, if there were two truck factories and you somehow got the gig of driving back and forth between the two factories at .75 per mile delivering trucks then you would only have to drive the 147,000 miles, but that's still a lot of miles. I would like to hear more about how this gig gets to $110,000 gross with no waiting for loads and with a reasonable amount of time home. Also, where do you sleep?

Don't get me wrong, though, I would love to hear more. Even a tall tale can be interesting if it's told properly.

I'd like to have seen Masakela get back to us with some of the details of his heavenly job. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but in reality, I think he was merely using the post as an attempt to recruit folks into his business.

As Friscomike sez, he'd likely be driving about 250,000 total revenue and deadhead miles to get to the $110,000 threshold. At 57 mph avg, that's 313 fourteen hour days. Throw in the HOS reset, time spent at pickup and dropoff and time deadheading home, you'd pretty much eliminate any quality hometime.

I know of that trailer ( RV) outfit out of Florida that has quite a bit of requirements and little in the way of pay .75/mile..and you pay for everything

you do have an escrow that you have to pay and you are responsible for any damages to the units you haul.

Seems to me that would be stressful, worrying about some 99. 44/100ths year old man in a motorhome backing into your towed RV at a rest area and you having to pay for it.

There is no golden goose I guess

This guy has found heaven because he's able to smoke crack while transporting trucks across the country. If I found the "Fountain Of Youth" I wouldn't tell a soul about it, but this guy has found "Heaven" and wants everyone to join him without asking God if its okay.LOL
