Huckabee: Obama Attacks 'Shameful'

Republican condemns knee-jerk criticism:

Mike Huckabee denounced some of his fellow Republicans' knee-jerk attacks on President Obama as "deplorable" and "shameful" in a recent speech. Huckabee said attacking Obama over well-intentioned actions like visiting Dover Air Force Base as the bodies of American troops arrived home or handing out Halloween candy made civil debate impossible, the Huffington Post reports.

"I hated it when people did that to George Bush," said the former Arkansas governor. "They couldn't even laugh at the man's jokes. They found something wrong with everything. If we do that to Barack Obama, then shame on us, shame on us. No wonder our country is so divided when that happens."

The liberal Democrats and the MSM set the public criticism bar to another level with their extreme, disrespectful and continuous beratement of George Bush during the eight years of his presidency. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to Huckabee or anyone else that the Republicans aren't pulling any punches with their criticism of Barack Hussein Obama - especially considering his radically liberal agenda and downright dangerous economic and foreign policy initiatives.

The left-wing loonies even went so far as to write books and make movies about assassinating Bush. Can you imagine the reaction if a similar book or movie was made about BHO?

So what? You can choose to be part of the "yeah, but look what they did" crowd, or you can do the stand up thing. Mike Huckabee , to my knowledge, doesn't bash anyone. I enjoy watching his show on Fox when I can. He has guests from all points of view. He respectfully makes his point to the oppositon and then let's them have their say. What is wrong with that?

I have heard NO attacks on Obama (otherwise know as the leader of the administration know as: IraqOsamaBinBiden). What I HAVE heard are accurate observations. You just have to call a donkey a donkey!! There is no other term for them!! (at least that this sites software would allow!!

) I don't give a flip what HuckleBerry says or ANY politition says for that matter. They are suck, they are all more useless than flippers on a desert scorpion, in other words, they ALL suck and flatlly deserve 100% of all the garbage thrown at them. Don't EVEN tell me I owe the current resident of the White House some kind of respect. I show that PUTZ the SAME respect he showed my soldier son on the floor of the Senate. HE sucks worse than most. Other than that he should just head out to Moscow where he belongs.

Nope, wild turkey are NOT in season in Michigan now. We hunt diver ducks on Lake Erie. Wild turkey are hunting mainly it the woods. That was a weird question. I have explained our hunts before. City people. Humph.

I knew what you meant, I just chose to ignore the insult to my friends and myself. We do NOT drink while hunting. AS to my marvelous rant that I THINK you were trying to ridicule with the original remark. It was fun, I enjoyed it and I really don't give a rat's flip if you like it or not. Besides, if you REALLY think it is stupid it will help you to feel superior to me and bolster your weak view of yourself. Glad to be of service.

For those that aren't familiar with it, there are not too many classes of people that are lower on the food chain and more dangerous than drunken hunters. When I used to hunt deer in W.Va we always had to be on the lookout for the "road hunters" - the lazy idiots that would ride around in their pickups with coolers of beer most of the day looking for anything they could shoot from the truck. Just as bad were the ones that would tote brown whiskey into the woods as part of their camp equipment, meaning they're probably drunk in the afternoons or hung over in the mornings. Anyone with an IQ beyond single digits knows that alcohol and gunpower don't mix. Can't say that I blame Layout for taking offense at the implication that John Barleycorn is one of his hunting partners.
