the accident happened when the sprinter transporter did not give way to the incoming trash truck in the roundabout .
the sprinters where not secured to the truck , because it was only traveling from the ship , to the new Mercedes / Hyundai /Mitsu. dist. lot. less then one kilometer away.
some POI :
the skidmarks behind the trailer show how hard the driver brake to avoid hitting the trash truck .
the driver hold 2 cell phone , one in each hand ...
the first responder is a .... paramedic scooter !,
then the ambulance take the driver to the hospital .
it was 62* and sunny yesterday...
you can see from the underbuddy , that European Sprinters build a bit different then what we have over here .
the truck and trailer have an outside self inflation system for the tires .
