How STRANGE!

How strange is this? My phone just rang, I answered, it was my State Representative, Dale Zorn. He just called to thank me for me emails on the house bill in Michigan that removes the need to register hand guns.

He told me that he calls EVERYONE who calls, writes or emails him. He requested that I continue to contact him often so he can continue to represent my wishes.

Hard to fathom, a politician who does his job and knows who he works for and what is station in life is. Refreshing.

I have no doubt that there is not ONE person on this globe that agrees with everything that I do. I don't expect that. I DO expect, and require, my reps to take my wants, needs and belief into account as they decide on how to vote on issues.

His campaign sign is now in our yard. I will likely send his campaign some money as well.

By the way, he did not ask for my vote or money during this conversation. He just stated that it felt it was his job and responsibility to make those calls.

In Michigan yet! Needless to day, I too am impressed. To date I have emailed or called his office 4 times. I have gotten two phone calls and to direct, to the point, answers from him. Not bad.
