There are a lot of variables in the pay.
1) What are you driving?
2) Who are you driving for?
3) O/O or Fleet Owner? And there are even more variables if you're driving for a fleet owner.
4) Special equipment?
5) Every run pays differently. We have been paid as low as .77/mile for basically a B load backhaul, and as much as $44/mile for a 10 mile WG load. There are a lot of inbetweens there!

Your question suggests you are just beginning your expediter university studies. You need to think of this as a career and education path just like being a bookkeeper, electrician, mechanic, barber or anything else and that is a career that takes at least a few hundred hours of study and education. Start by reading back AT LEAST one full year in the general, newbies and recruiter forums. That doesn't mean every single word of every single post. That means read every single thread title and if the title suggests it will teach you about pay or rates or companies or anything else you think important to you then read that whole thread. If the thread is about which color socks are best with which color truck then pass it by. You will learn all about pay doing that and see all the things that are missing from your question. Good luck with your studies.

You attacked his opinions daily, if you didn't agree, you shouldn't have read,you being a moderator shouldn't spend day after day attacking an individuals political opinions and then even attack them in a thread that was a prank or joke and turn it in to what it ended up. you should be banned for inciting him day after day until he finally had to say what he did,you deserved it.

That question is so broad that it has an infinite number of answers, go back to the archives and do some studying.
When you have your choices limited to a handful of companies and decide if you want to own your truck or drive for a fleet owner, then maybe we can answer your question.

I know Doug got banned, but I missed what he got banned for. I've personally never had a problem with his posts.
I didn't target Doug or anyone else and the soapbox is meant specifically for spirited discussions. I post my thoughts which last time I checked I was allowed to have just like anyone else. I didn't put Doug on vacation either. I don't have that capability as a moderator and don't need/want it either. I didn't make any of Doug's postings. He did that all for/by himself.

As a moderator you need to be more tolerant of others. You can't let your personal feelings get in the way of your job!
It is just like you Right Wing Fox News/Rush Limbaugh Parroting Idiots to want to shut up someone with a different (more educated and objective) point of view. Afterall, Fox News isn't really news now is it? Real news provides all the facts and allows the listener to form their opinions based on all sides. Fox News only tells you one side, their side so you become incapable of objectively forming your own opinions. Isn't that what Hitler did to the good people of Germany? And, Rush Limbaugh is nothing more than an outdated biggotted prescription drug addicted windbag who is a self-professed "entertainer". Entertainer?!? You find entertainment in the spewing of hate? A mod does not have the capacity to ban anyone....it is not part of the moderator screen functions....
Only Dreamer or Lawrence can do that....
Regardless even if Doug was badgered Dreamer had to edit his post for langauge and rudeness...Doug lost it and paid the price....you can't throw a temper tantrum break the rules and expect no retribution. We are after all adults and control is expected...we have a responsibility to act accordingly....if your child did that you's punish them?
