How much of this is true?

These two sites are about the Islamic culture. One is a blog about questionable practices, and the other is a news interview with an Islamic feminist, with english subtitles. Both point up the plight of innocents, in other parts of the world. I`d like to think this, and other social wrongs is what we`re fighting against.
