How much has the American Axle strike affected you?

I personally have only worked one day in the past two weeks. I work for a carrier that only does automotive. I am in the Detroit area.

I think it has affected everyone not only american axel , but last I heard about 30 GM plants plus all the little supply plants, and then you have all the Trucks that usually run that freight looking for work . And the suppliers getting all caught up on the non affected plants It has to hurt Expedite..

Actually quite a bit. Been doing back to back to back rt's from IN to CA for backup mfrs.
Wish they'd get it settled, it's a long, long RT

Just about the time you were writing the above I was at the MickeyD's up the street from the Detroiter fielding a call from Dispatch - they wanted to know if I could take one from Woodhaven to San Jose, CA.

Of course, I told 'em "Sure"
