How many of us are out here?

Does anyone have an idea of how many of each truck style there are out there working for a living, do the vans really out number the st8's by 5 to 1 or is this a fictisious number, just how many drivers are out there? Just curious, I seem to see the same trucks all the time a lot, but not really sure if they are the same, white trucks are most prevelant, my truck sticks out as it's black and not the norm for an expediter truck.

Those numbers wouldn't surprise me. but to be honest I have no clue and never gave it a thought.
If you run like I do and don't get to far off your beaten path its a good chance you are seeing the same trucks from time to time. I know I do see some of the same folks,,As I usually do some sort of rolling inspection (just looking at em) as ya all blow by me. I see things like ripped mud flaps,bent doors,rusty wheels,burned out light,gouges from tree limbs and even really clean trucks that help ya pick em out. Each of us properly has something that puts a mark on us,just like your black truck..
Which by the way ya should paint it expedite white...If for no other reason you can be just like the rest of us:D

Never had a white van, yellow van or black and ran no decals. I didnt blend in, so I just looked like a guy going somewhere on the road, then at the point of delivery or pick up , just put on the magnetic decal on the door of whom I was delivering or picking up for, worked for me. I liked it that way.
