Since leaving my old carrier September of 2009 I thought I would share the info of our new carrier(which is Panther Expedite) I said I would share this with the EO family after being at Panther for a year, well here they are. The numbers are from Jan, 1, 2010 till today which is the 1st 78 days on the year.

The numbers are the total of all 7 trucks we have on with Panther. Now two of the trucks signed on March 1st of this year. The numbers also have 100% of the FSC Panther charges the customer that we get all of. The numbers came off the owners web page that Panther has.

Here are our fleet numbers.

Total avg gross per loaded mile. $1.77
Total loads for 2010 to date. 177 loads year to date.
Total in sevice for our fleet. 68.43%
Total loaded miles for our fleet. 84871 loaded miles.

For all miles we are at $1.38 a mile for all miles.
The numbers are for all money paid to us.

Now I know someone would ask how our fleet did for 2009 so I went back and ran the numbers. Now we ran 4 trucks most of the year and signed on truck number five in September of 2009. Our 1st year we had to learn Panther.

Total fleet info

Total gross per loaded mile was $1.52
Total loads done in 2009 was 425 loads
Total in service for our fleet 55%, which was really bad.
Total loaded miles for our fleet 251682

Total gross for all miles was 1.31

How do your numbers compare with same from previous carrier?
Any word on how many actual miles/how much DH?
Are the owners happy they made the switch?

My company,,,,Still 1 flat tire away from Bankruptcy thanks to 2009..Freight and miles are up a bit this year.(sorry no numbers but thats my secret :D)
The light bill, mortgage and truck payments are being made so I guess I'm still carving out a living
Really watching the D/head miles this year so far,,at least until I can recover from last year..

Look at your loaded miles and total miles they don't add up right. It has been doing the same thing with out trucks total miles too. I went to Fred to see what I was paying road taxs on. Fred had 10,000 miles total miles less than the computer showed. The I.T Department is checking into it.

Yea I know my is doing the same thing, I talked to Panther last week about it. They are aware of it and hope to have it fixed soon. I'm happy with Panther and wish we would have moved sooner to be honest. Panther reminds me of the way Roberts Express was before they was bought out.

299 miles DH on 20,087 miles WOW...thats less that 1.5% DH..is that correct? if so AWSOME job. Why cant everything work out that good huh? but if it did we would live in a perfect world..lol

I think that is just paid deadhead. Uncounted miles are some of the 100 miles I think we give up. The uncounted miles are off by more than 10,000 miles.

Ours is a mixed bag. Availibility, dh, AM, and refusals isn't accurate. It shows 0 refusals on one truck but we are at 85 percent. Also says 3 percent DH. Not true as we here are showing 12 percent. Totals on revenue and FSC are accurate.
