Last week on an Interstate 65 mph came upon a 4 wheeler along the side of the highway. Brake lights flashed as I came upon it doing about 60mpg instead of coasting along and gaining speed and letting me pass (4 wheeler passing me on left) car TURNS left into right hand lane of Expressway, no signal no cruising just a left turn at 4mph into a truck (mine) comming up on at 60mpg. I am glad I did not hit them but almost did.

Hi

For some reason people no longer know how to merge.I don't know if its no longer taught in drivers ed on if they no longer have this on the test to get your license.Maybe they need to bring back that Disneys drivers ed movie again. The one with Goofy.

I think they sould at least show a film on what the road looks like from the inside of a truck. If not put students into the cab of a truck before sending them for they license. They wouldn't have to drive it ,just put them in the driver's seat and then have some one drive a car in front of the truck.

I also feel that there are to many gadgets in cars now.DVD players, GPS and cell phones.Cars are becoming entertainment centers instead of transportation.I also feel that all interstates should have 3 lanes minimum.Right lane should be left open for entering and exiting traffic, center lane should be the travel lane and the left should be for passing. These should be clearly marked with overhead signs. There is just way to much traffic for our current interstate system.

I say revise the licensing system to reflect a more long term learning curve - say three years. The h*ll with this get a license at 16 c**p it is not a right. Try 18 or 21.

I had one yesterday merging onto 94, going at the same rate as I was. She was in the middle of my truck when she was trying to merge and expecting me to stop to let her in. I could not change lanes, some what of a problem when you have a gravel hauler next to you and being the one in front I refused to budge. She just rode on the shoulder for almost 1/4 mile refusing to yield. She just went along like it was nothing to drive on the shoulder.

Some people just don't seem to realize that the pedal under their right foot will make the vehicle accelerate!

let me say first, sorry about the caps.....

GREG, I AGREE MERGING IS A TERRIBLE PROBLEM. IN MY SLOW CAR I STAY RIGHT AND TRY TO BE AT 60. IT NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME THAT SOME FOLKS HAVE NO CONCEPT THAT WHEN YOU PUSH DOWN ON THE LONG SKINNY PEDAL THE VEHICLE GOES FASTER. CASE IN POINT...YESTERDAY I AM TRYING TO PACE AN INCOMING P-U AND THE DRIVER IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION. I HAVE TO MOVE OVER AS HE WILL NEITHER SPEED UP OR SLOW DOWN. MY WIFE LOOKS OVER AS WE ARE PASSING HIM AND SEES HIM ON A CELL PHONE WITH ONE HAND AND PICKING HIS NOSE WITH THE OTHER. THEN HE PULLS AWAY AND I MOVE BACK OVER. later i see a minivan on the shoulder flashers on. then the flashers go off and off the shoulder and in front of a honda immediately. the honda hits the brakes to avoid and then pulss out to pass and goes. the kicker is the minivan gets off 1/4 mile later.
