77 is a good lane for freight, how often any carrier will get you home is a guess, in all my years I've delivered in charleston.....once.

Landstar is great for letting you be you...you tell them you want to be out of service for x-amount of time and they wont bother you at all....and they seem to move freight through your area...jmho!

Most any carrier will be able to get you close. You will find with some that when you tell them, everything offered will go the opposite direction. Honestly, getting close to home when its time is a plan. Sometimes its better to just ride it out without saying anything and when you get close then go home. That seems to work better for us. Most important though is that when all else fails, suck it up and go home.
