Home again

Another fun weekend and home again. Went and bought all those things for the truck that you have to go and stand in line at the dealer etc. That wasted a couple of hours. Did some minor repair stuff to trucks (we all do this during downtime) then of course home for more home time work. Today I thought I'd vacuum some parts of the house. Well lo and behold the canister is full, the filters are plugged and it sucks poorly. So I disassemble the vacuum cleaner. it has as many filters as my truck does. Only nice part is I can wash all of them. Now why don't they make our truck filters like that? It took me all of half an hour to wash and dry the filters plus whil waiting for them to dry out I cleaned the rest of the machine (i won't give details of gunk found). So an hour plus fixing vacuum cleaner. FYI these things require regular maintenance like the truck, furnace, other assorted machines and tools around the home. So off I go to find and fix whatever else seems to have been neglected. Knew I should have gone to my bros and drank his beer instead.

Is it just me or does it seem like everything suddenly needs maintenance as soon as you pull into the driveway?

Thanks for your post. It brought a smile to my face today!
