I have been around for a while, but could not log in, so I changed some things.

I have also turned 65 and am wondering if I still have a shot at finding a company that will take me on. I have a class A CDL and a fresh med. cert. but no Hazmat as it wasn't needed with my last company(local(state wide) private carrier.

Any comments are welcome.

I would say you still have a shot, I have met a driver that was 72.
