Herman Cain is not even a "typical Republican"....at this point, in my opinion he is the best choice...but we still have 18 months to go...alot can and will come out and happen between now and then....

One person is not going to create a "positive" enviroment in our Fed Gov...anyone in the Presidents seat is going to take hits, now if you had said "positive posting about the President, well there is a better chance of that, but not a bunch..taking shots at polictians is almost as big a "national pastime" as baseball...none of them are exempt...no matter which party...

With him not being a typical republican says it best:D I dropped out of the Dumocratic party a while back and i have no political affilliation but seeing that there isn't anyone from the Independant party that would be a viable candidate I believe so far that Cain would be the best one to kick Obumma's butt out of the whitehouse!

I was interested in Cain until I read that he thinks that the Fed is doing a good job and that there is not need to audit them.

The Fed needs to go. If Cain does not agree with that, then I don't agree with Cain.

The ONLY way I would vote for him is IF he is running against Obama. I would vote for a dead dog over Obama.

I have never voted for anyone that had 100% of the same ideals as i have...there is always going to be something that you are going to disagree with a candiate on...but i also figured that i can't vote strictly on 1 issue, there are many things to take into consideration and you have to find the one that you "most" agree with, not totally, but "mostly"....that being said, id vote for Elmer Fudd over barry...

No one is going to kick Obama out of office, get over the idea there will be. The only way he will get booted is if the dems fight against him in the election and the economy seriously turns south at the same time we are in a full blown war in Libya or Syria. Outside of that, a lot of people say the republicans are coming to grips with reality a bit too late.

Neither have I. In fact, I have NEVER voted FOR anyone that I wanted to see as president. I have only voted AGAINST the one I thought sucked worse.

Anything is better than what we have now (Even LOS Dead dog)! And sorry Greg, I can't believe that Obumma can't be beat, but I, like you can have their different opinions and can only hope that one of us is right especially me Lol :D

I disagree Greg. There is a long time until Nov 2012. ANY good candidate that is running prior to Nov 2010 can defeat Obama.

I expect to see things start to come together in June or July. Plenty of time.

Elmer Fudd's dead cat has a GREAT chance!!

I always thought it was a "Wabbit" Elmer was after...well he never did kill that "Wabitt"!!..:D

Either way...barry can and will be beat...the welfare/entitlement crew isn't big enough and his lies have caught up to him and the independents that put him over the top won't be there this time around and now it looks like alot of the Jewish dems are getting full of him too...he is beatable...even by Elmer...

I currently know very little about Cain. But I will say this, out of the current contenders, he likely would have the greatest chance of pulling some of the ethnic vote that Obama takes for granted. It would be a long haul, but the republicans better get a grip or I don't see them taking out Obama either.
But they do have time. Just a matter of whether they screw it up or not.
