Help with bentz sleeper

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and this is my first post! I bought a freightliner Columbia with a bentz bunk on it. I just bought it and there are a lot of systems that are not working. where do I find service manuals for these things? What I especially need is wiring diagrams and how they tapped into the original freightliner harness. Does anyone have anything good bad or indifferent to say about these things? It seems like a big camper

To the best of my knowledge Bentz published none of the things you are interested in. As you know they folded in about 2007. Don Bentz opened his own facility DBA Bolt transportation products. He would be your best source of information.

Actually, he may have a newer sleeper.
I think they are Bentz ( Built) by Bolt.

I could be wrong.
Anyway, his best bet would be get in touch with Bolt.

Scampo77 Call Bolt as Don had always been involved with all of sleepers. Many of the guys and ladies that are working on the Bolt Sleepers also worked on the Bentz sleepers.

If you are in the area it would be best to stop by the shop and have them look at your sleeper.

Is that a good address for Bolt ?
I thought they moved.
Could be. My info is couple years old. Google search turns up nothing. You might call Jeff Jones at Stoops Freightliner in New Haven In.for info on Bolt. Jeff and Don have worked closely on building units.
P.S. Google Maps still shows them at the New Haven address,

Thanks AJ, [and Ragman], for the corrected address. I could see me calling Don & saying "I'm on my way" and heading for the old address on Allen Martin, lol.

Good luck on calling Don. Last time I tried his voice mail was full and couldn`t get through. He probably has people now to handle that stuff.

I've never had a problem contacting Bolt. A few years ago I was having an AC problem and called Don on his cell on a Saturday to find out how much added freon was needed to allow for the bunk unit. He returned my call with the answer right away.

I had an a/c issue in our recently purchased Bolt sleeper (switch controlling heat-a/c not working).
Sent Don an email one night- he called the very next morning and walked me through a by-pass of the switch. Will stop in at his shop, 1st chance we get, for the repair.

I believe so.
I do not believe it affects the day to day operations. I believe Don is still the go to guy.
I think Jones still has some agreement to handle some Frtlnr deals. I'm not sure of all the details.,

Stopped by there for some repairs mid month, they jumped right on it and had me out in a few hours. Worth the trip to get it looked at and save you some aggravation.
