also looking for a place to store my truck for the weekend ($)
probably in N.J ,so i can get to Brooklyn. Lik not too far from a train station...

I found it on Saturday, it's pretty much at the exit (NY side) of the Lincoln Tunnel. Depending on the traffic, you may have to turn left and go up to 41st or 42nd street, turn left once you are there and then head back south. Center is at the corner of 34th and NY9A (12th Ave, Joe D highway or the south end of the Hudson Pkwy whatever you want to call it. There is a parking garage at Dyer (the street the tunnel empties onto) and 42nd. Cars only. You could cross the GWB and take the Hudson Pkwy South to 34th or do the tunnel thing. From where you are it makes no diff either way. Guess it'll depend on where you get your truck parked. If you need to transit in, can't help ya.

Piper, he's in a straight truck. Depending on his height, may be problematic.

Moose, if yer going to be at Javits, why not drive it to Brooklyn and park it where you are going to be?? It'd be bout the same horseing round, an freight might/would be better ther than Jersey. Chances are you'd have to go back in to load anyway.

Problematic is an understatement Col.

Trucks are not allowed on Parkways in NYC....ummm unless you'd like to be a convertible?

Moose ,cross George Washington Bridge,get off the 178th st exit and follow to 178th st.turn right and then go south to Broadway.Turn right on Broadway and go south to W.34th st.
I forget if the even numbers go 1 way west or east,you may have to improvise.Stay of the parkways,your not permitted.
When I use to go to Javitz,I use to come in on the lower east side cross the Manhatten bridge,then run the west side highway.Hope this helps

Whoops, my bad. When he asked about truck parking in Jersey I thought he was going to park first and then car it to NYC.

I also think that driving a Sprinter has made me forget about "big trucks" Guess Moot is right, Ban the Van!

If its not to late,i forgot,when you going south on Broadway,the easier way is to then go south on Columbus ave,which then becomes 9th ave.This will take you to w.34th st.If I remember right,entrance to Javitz is actually on 12th ave
