First time poster. Currently have a class A, driving OTR tractor. Love driving and being out on the road, but not the restrictions that come with being in a big truck. I have decided to come down to a c/v or a Sprinter. Have already put applications with Panther and FECC. Hopefully I will be able to make the change soon.

This is a common occurrence in this industry - where a Class A Driver moves down to a Class 2 Cargo/Sprinter Van.
My advice is:
1. Read as much as you can in these forums - they will help you.
2. Prepare for a big change in the miles you run. OTR drivers have a hard time adjusting to the expedite schedule - which is "hurry up and wait" for that next load.
