Heavy-Duty Shocks

2 months ago I put Monroe Shocks on my E-350 and last week I realized they had broken. I just put Heavy-Duty Shocks that are used for RV and Ambulance Vehicles, it raised up about 3 inches. Does anyone think I should add lifters to help support loads around 3000lbs or will they be suffiecent?

I have not heard of any shock actually raising the height of the vehicle up except air shocks.

Im with Greg, I didnt relize a set of shocks alone would raise vecile height without some sort of lift kit unless maybe they are (as ya stated) for a different vechile other then what your running???
Im thinking a better way to do what ya want is sink money into air bags,helper springs etc etc
