My standard breakfast in the truck was a bowl of instant oatmeal and an apple. Easy to carry. Easy to prepare. Good to eat. The challenge was eating healthy through the rest of the day. Those fast food places can be quite tasty too.

One thing I noticed in the video, that "Trucker Trainer" has his body fat under control!

A good point in the video mentions the benefit of old fashioned oats compared to quick oats. Oat fashioned oats are digested slower as opposed to instant oats that are digested quicker and hence a higher spike in blood sugar levels. I pour hot water in a bowl of old fashioned oats,sprinkle some low sugar flavored protein powder,cinnamon, and a splash of skim milk. Sometimes i will eat them without the hot water and just use skim milk.
