Heads -Up Possible Scam

Being retired for 11 years and not using CD since then, its obvious this Text message about my CD card is a scam.

Thanks Turtle. I assume you are saying its legit from CD. Still seems a mystery why they would be trying to contact me after 11 years.Probably retiring old files.

Yep. Whenever I get a text message from a code number, like you I immediately think spam or scam. So the first thing I do is either Google the code or just go to the Short Code Directory to see if it's legit.

As to why they contacted you, I have no idea. It could be that someone is using a computer to go through Comdata card numbers to see if any of them work, and the hit caused an automatic hold on your number. But that's just a guess.
