Oh how fantastic :D

Congratulations

I have no idea what there is in Vegas (a place I would love to go)

But a friend of mine, from England lol, recently was there and loved the show's, helicopter rides over the canyon, and of course a little gambling :D

Have a great time

If you want to see the area rent a car and drive to Valley of Fire State Park. It's amazing. Also Hoover Dam and Red Rocks SP. Congrats!

Theres' lots to do there to do if you have the time. I didn't like the bus tours, I was forced to take one to Reno but the last time I was there, I did Petty's racing school for the two days - next time it will be Andretti's racing school to see the difference. As a group went to canyon and did the horse back tour and helo tour, some of the others did the balloon thing (ain't no way you will get me up there).

If you go to the vegas tourist counter at the airport (assuming you are flying), they will help you decide - there is a lot there.

If you have to ask that question, maybe you shouldn't be getting married. :D

And if you have to ask that question, perhaps you should try and secure tickets to the Blue Man Group. You'll fit right in. :D

What to do in Vegas. OK, keep moving. Don't do more than one thing in each hotel, so you can see them all and establish a pattern of constant movement. Think of yourself as on the run from the cops at all times.

If you want to really feel like an outlaw go to the old part of Vegas, downtown, Freemont Street. It's seedy and ugly and makes you feel like an outlaw. But it's old Vegas for-real. That's where you'll find Binions, the home of the World Series of Poker. It's also where the outdoor mall has a ceiling where a bazillion LEDs dance the tripp the night fantastic.

Every half-hour between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and every 15 minutes from then 'til midnight, an 8.5-acre lake in the middle of the desert explodes with 1,214 spritzers shooting water up to 460 feet in the air — the water rockets and dances, perfectly choreographed to Frank Sinatra or Gene Kelly or "One Singular Sensation" from A Chorus Line. And yet, for some reason, it doesn't feel all that gay, which is quite a feat. See it at the Bellagio Hotel.

If you like fine French cuisine, and if money is no concern, go to Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars for the best, most inventive, full-on ridiculous Parisian meal in America. It's awesome. I've eaten there twice. If money is a concern, hit Fiamma Trattoria & Bar at the MGM. It's one of the few Italian restaurants whose main courses are as good as the pastas, and one of the few restaurants in Vegas that isn't overpriced. You can't do Vegas without doing a buffet, and the buffet at the Wynn is one of the few with really good food, especially their breakfast buffet. It's the best buffet in town. Zoozacrackers at the Wynn is an awesome self-serve New York deli.

It's not the wildest roller coaster in existence, but the New York-New York roller coaster goes right through the New York-New York hotel and takes only a few minutes. The hotel is worth seeing for its brilliantly compressed version of a Disneyfied Manhattan, and the roller coaster is a better way to tour it than walking through.

Or just start walking along The Strip and take it all in. Won't be long before something catches your eye, be it one of the casinos or the M&M Store.

And those unwashed guys on the strip, those coupons they hand out aren't for discount meals... :p

I would agree that the Hoover Dam is worth a visit as is the Bellagio Hotel's Fountain show... Bring some film and take some video's and lots of pics!!! Take in the steaks at the New York Casino and the pennies in the fountain near the steak display case all go to Make a Wish Foundation. The MGM Grand has the lions that are right inside the casino... it's cool if you like big cats in glass boxes. Take in one of the shows while in Vegas - if possible. Walk the strip and people watch too. I've never been to Fremont Street thing, but heard it's good.
The fountains at the Bellagio are breathtaking, No two shows are the same I'm told. Walk in and out of each casino and just enjoy Vegas like a true tourist.

Congrats!!

We too would like to also see the Pawn Shop where Pawn Stars

is filmed.

There are quite a few Pawn Shops in the old part of Vegas if

you are interested in that.

The Visitor center with the iconic Las Vegas sign has many ideas

including a Helicopter tour over Vegas and the Hoover Dam.

Another interest that we would to see is the Pinball Hall of Fame

Arcade;

Las Vegas Pinball Hall of Fame Pinball Museum, Nevada NV, Tim Arnold

We have posted other ideas here;

http://www.expeditersonline.com/forum/daytrippers-guide/46217-discount-tickets.html

Attending a Time Share will also earn tickets and freebies;

Warning: If you seem the least bit interested they will take up

more of your time.

We say we travel enough with work, Like to go camping, have

no plans for children, scared to fly, get seasick, saving to buy a

home, don't vacation with friends or family, ETC.

The stratosphere hotel on the north end of the strip has rides on the roof I think the roof is 600 feet or more from the ground bungy jump off the roof, rocket chair or something that shoots you straight up off the roof google the hotel name for more info also they had a resturant on the top floor the moves in circle nice view changes while you eat and drink, food was good too

I would spend my time in Vegas thinking of the friends that really wanted to "ride" over to attend your wedding prior to your decision to get married in Vegas!

What the heck, it would have rained on my ride, and your wedding anyhow.

Have fun Jim. Good luck on Monday. NO COLD FEET.

Pinball museum is awesome- money donated to charity, room to park the truck.
On the same street, go to "The Gun Store" where hubby shot a grease gun and saw. (insert jokes here about shooting at defenseless tools)
Hubby says there's an outdoor range that should be open, too. Don't know the name.
I heard the Neon Graveyard -where all the old signs are stored- was going to be opening for regular tours soon, instead of reservation only.
And congratulations!
