Haz Mat endorsement needed ?

Do i need to have HazMAt endorsement to take a class 9 HM load ?

the Airbags marked as HM ,to communicate the marine/Air restrictions .

If it's more than 1000 pounds, and thus placardable, yes.

Although you are right, I hauled crates (3000 lbs) of these things for two companies and both companies said they were not HM while on the truck.

I recommend calling the company you work for and ask them.

I've had dispatch tell me I can run Hazmat without that endorsement,as long as it's under 1,001 pounds,so I went to the DMV and they said if it's Hazmat(any amount) you must have that endorsement or you are never to move it.
You don't have to placard it if under 1,001.
