PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO DO SO.

Just a simple two paragraph letter, go to Google, type in Contact your Senator and than Contact your Congressman.

It will give you the phone and fax #s.

I enoucourage you to please do not let this opportunity pass you (us) AMERICA UP.

I thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely,

Kraig

A friend of mine once worked in Washington as an assistant to TN Senator Fred Thompson (the actor). Told me straight up that faxes and e-mails rarely get read, but that typed, computer printed, and legible handwritten letters, anything they had to open an envelope for, always got read. Invest in a stamp.

Said about the only time e-mails get read is when they contained certain keywords or key phrases, and that as a general rule, you don't want your e-mails to be read for those reasons. :)

Also showing up in their office to get an appointment works too.

RE: Have you written or faxed your representatives

oh by the way, I have sent a lot of emails to all kinds of elected officials, I have also gotten a lot of replies. I even got a reply from McCains staff calling him a hypocrite for his offer of $50 an hour and than ignoring our requests for an application.

The one thing I think since thompson has left office is the fact that many people have been asking their elected officals "did you get my email" and sometime they hear the complaints that they never reply from the consituents.

So one fax does not get read after reading this. OK I agree 100%, but if twenty thousand faxes get sent, eight hundred thousand. Think they won't notice?

Get to writing the more #s the better the chances they will see our view point.
