Hello everyone, I've been reading the forums for a while and appreciate everyone's input. You guys provide alot of useful information and I have enjoyed reading about your experiences.

I have a 97 Isuzu FTR box truck with a liftgate. I've used this truck in a vending service for the last 12 years. The truck is mainly used to deliver vending machines to various locations and has not been driven much because machines don't need to be picked up or replaced very often. As you all know these trucks are a money pit and I'd like for this truck to start paying for itself. I'd like to put the truck to work here in the DFW area and was thinking expediter work may be a good fit. Although I would like to keep the work relatively local. I have a class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker. Do you guys have any ideas or know any company in the area that I could contract with. Thanks in advance for any ideas or help you can offer.

I know of a job where you would go to the border pickup several packages and return to Dallas but you cannot look in the packages, pays well.

Have you tried to start a courier/delivery business? Maybe checking with local office supply stores, or types of businesses that move things around town a lot like auto parts.

A-truck express and Pronto are the biggest local delivery with some out of town and back deliveries. Stay away from dfw express

Having your hazmat will make you decent money with both those companies. Better know DFW really really well though. If you are slow, you won't make it.
