As most of you know Andy Clarke the CEO of Panther Expedited Services last year went out on the road in a Sprinter Van with Ed the CFO of Panther Expedited Services for Toys for Tots. Well this year Andy is back at it again but, He went and got his class B CDL and is hitting the road again this year in a D-unit for Toys for Tots. No CEO in the history of Expediting has done this as far as I can remember. I would like to tip my hat to Andy Clarke for commitment to Toys for Tots.

Maybe other CEO's from other carriers will do the same next year. HINT HINT.

Our CEO just spent over three years on the road in a Sprinter. I'd venture that quite a few heads of expediting companies have spent significant amounts of time on the road.

In spite of all the bickering we do here, [guilty:eek:], we remain a community, and it's truly great to hear about the good we can do.
Congrats to Andy [no waking up with a dead battery this year, eh?:D] and to Wombat [if you do end up holding a sign, be sure to put 'Wombat' on it, so we can toss money your way, lol] and to every one who reaches out to help others just because it's the right thing to do.
Now I have to go get more Kleenex, darn it!:)

No, John Elliott already does a lot of work with Toys for Tots and many other places. John has a heart of gold that I have seen 1st hand. Andy Clarke and John Elliott are to of the most caring CEO I have ever seen. My hats off to both of them for doing things for Toys for Tots.

Way to go Wombat!! Send me the amount of the gas and chow and I'll cover it. If you need cash, you know what to do.

Hats off to Panther's CEO. It's a great cause to donate time to. If he's in a straight, does this mean no motels this year?
