Has anyone ever heard of...

a company called Velocity Express in Atlanta, GA. I understand they are a sub of aother company whose name I have forgotten. I would appreciate any information anyone could provide as to what it is they specialize in, type of trucks they run, where they run, etc. Thanks and be safe.

There is one in minneapolis and they are more of a courier service. They are (to my understanding) nation wide. They run dock trucks on down to cars. They also run cheap. Up here they don't take O/O's. They don't pay very well either. They do take away business from home grown couriers. Sounds like corporate take over to me.

Just another negative to add to about Velocity.
There here in Pittsburgh. There everywhere.
They are more of a courier, and yes they are cheap to pay a driver and are cutting the throats of the local couriers in the Pgh. area.
They (Velocity) also have warehousing available.
