Fri 13th may be a bad thing being stuck down here in St. Louis. Maybe I ought to cut my loses now and just DH up to Chitown before I find myself sitting for the weekend.

If you find yourself at the Hook later, drop by and say hello. But not now; need a nap because I just know a run to Seattle is coming in a few hours. Round trip, too.

So you didn't get the STL--Omaha or STL-- Houston runs, either, huh? Ok, speak up...who got 'em?

Huh...which J are you at? Houston runs?? LOL I haven't got nothin yet. Seems that everything south of the Mason/Dixon is slow for E1. Maybe Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday when I finally get a load. Who knows!!

Well, it is Fri. the 13th for me !
just delivered a load into a construction site in North Dakota.
took 5 workers 6 hours to load yesterday, and 3 workers 3 hours to unload the truck.
problem is,
about one hour before they done unloading, it started to rain, and by rain i mean buckets !, it was poring water for the last 2 hours.
the construction place is a new silo in the middle of corn fields. and i was the 1st truck in.
there's a 400 feet of ,now MUD pie, leading to the 2 mil gravel road leading to town.
and to get to the gravel i will need to cross a, now flooded, creek.
a tow truck wont help, maybe tomorrow a farm tractor ? but they might needs to bring a few truckloads of gravel, and a graider to rebuild the creek over pass.
so here i sit, lost my weekends run, hoping for the best. :)

None, now. Was at Chain of Rocks. On my way to upstate NY now.

I had a bunch of bids today. Kept losing them until right at the end. Nice and cool at night in NY. Can give the AC a much-needed break.

I live in upstate NY, what city are you delivering to? It has been dropping down into the mid-50's at night and highs of about 80 where I am.

Yamoo has it's origins in northwestern Iowa. Originally it involved cows but has evolved to include teenage boys and has become quite popular in Minneapolis and San Francisco.

Well... That was,(Highway Star clears throat), disturbing. Even before I saw that I was ready to give up on being a devoted Branch Yamooian, given the crappy weekend load all that devotion got me.

Hmmm... What did I do with that Chinchilla pelt?
