Thanks, everyone. I've been driving all day [Load 1 dispatch rules!] and it's ok - nobody makes a pumpkin cake [pie is good, but it's not the same!] and I don't even like turkey anyway, lol.
It's weird, but the peace and quiet of a long drive is actually more conducive to counting my blessings than a family feast. [Especially when some of the blessings overserve themselves at the bar, and others don't get along, and nobody wants to do the dishes but the men can ignore them while the women just can't, lol, and the end result is another 5 lbs around the middle.
I am most grateful for all of them, really, and all of you, too, and the quiet reflective time to appreciate it all.

[Except the 5 lbs!]

PS a special thanks to Boss John Elliot, for the $100 ComCheck [for dinner!]. It is something he didn't have to do, in recognition of drivers doing something we don't have to do, and it is, as his usual, a very classy gesture to make.
