If 1 to 3 is heavy what do you folks call call 6 to 8 inch snowfall

(Im poking at ya..Any snow is reason for concern)

It does sound funny calling 1-3" heavy snow. I understand it is VA, but it sure SOUNDS funny!

I think I'd rather have 6 inches, to be truthful. By the time it gets that heavy, everybody understands that conditions are bad and they drive accordingly. When you have only an inch or so, many people seem slow to understand that you can't drive at full speed on that and that's when the real trouble starts. You're moving along at near posted speed, hit a slick spot and then you lose it--- need I say more??
