does any one go to the gym on the road and if you do do they let you get a one day pass

I bought a membership to the ymca for 20$ a month. What i like about it is that there are y's every where I go and I can use my card at almost all of them.If you go on line and put in ymca.com then put in a city or town and put in how many miles out you what to drive it will bring them up and you can even get the direction. I can swim or play basketball or take a steam ,lift weights or just go in to the longe and watch tv.Buy 4 showers at a truck stop and that's your mebership fee for a month.You can just use them to get a shower if you want. I have delivered my load early in the morning went to the nearest y and slept there until they opened in the morning.Some of them will charge you a couple of bucks but most of them just tell you not to worry about it.///////// Panthervanman:7 :7 :7 :7

I don't know about the "gym " but my wife goes to the "jim" while out on the road.

Gold's gym will let you have a one day pass for usually around $10. about the price of a shower, and you can do that there also. i believe if you have a gold's gym membership that you can use it at any of their locations. there is a gold's gym on I-85 exit 40 (us 34 west) about 3 blocks on left in Newnan, Georgia that i go to since we get there often.

Broompilot and I got memberships at the YMCA..I am sorry to say tho i need it more he uses his regularly. In my case I live in a small town with a small YMCA and my cost is $35.00 a year. I have yet to be charged by any YMCA I have visited and am VERY impressed at the facilities I have visited thus far. An added benifit is I avoid truck stops and go for Parks, walmarts and other placed that do not provide a shower...can always get a shower at the Y and usually a whirlpool and a sauna too....That's my 2 cents..now I'm going for a swim(LOL)

I have done Golds and the Y. Y by far blows the others away.

# 1 usually NO CHARGE

# 2 clean facilities

# 3 clean facilities

#4 never been charged a dime at any I have used vs Golds.

#5 Y is everywhere.

#6 Y has Morals Young Mens Christian Association. Not what most people think Young Mens Corprate Assoicaition.
