Gunsmith?

Does anyone know of a good gunsmith in the Monroe/Toledo area? I can't seem to find one. I need word down on my SBE. It has a chip out of the extractor.

No I just thought the dire need for you to have a gun worked on had something to do with my presence in that area...oh it will be fun, I am meeting Jeffman with supplies for his next 2 weeks on the road. Just hanging out, good gravy, we've been apart 2 weeks already, lol! I like Toledo, though. Easy to navigate. Cool lighted bridge.

The SBE broke the last time I was hunting. I live in between Monroe, MI and Toledo. I was just hoping one of the Toledo area people knew of a gunsmith so I can get it in to be fixed when I am home next time.

It is LONG out of warranty. I just need the extractor and spring set for it replaced.

I know that they can fix it. I was hoping to give the money to a local if I could find one.

How long did they take to fix yours? The last person I talked to said it took 7 months to get it back, for the same problem.

I don't know, I sent it in when I went on the road and I got it back when I went on vacation - maybe 3 months. They did more than just fix the problem, they also did some tweaking to it and I have been really happy with it.

I know of a really good gunsmith, if he hasn't retired, but he's in Houston. Can you get the extractor and swap it out yourself?

Cabela's does not have gunsmiths.

No Leo, I can't do the work my self. I cannot even see stuff that small any more.

Schupbachs Sporting Goods

The guys (family) that own this place are really great ppl.
Not real sure how the gunsmith are tho,I never used em. All the years I have shopped here I never heard of proplems with them. They have in house repair and ya shouldnt have to ship it out from their place.???
They also have a nice lil gun rack to shop..Both new and used.

You could try Cleland's out door world in the toledo area they are on airport hwy near toledo express

I checked their website, it said nothing about a gunsmith. I am going to call them when I get home, maybe they work with one.

I can see I am in the wrong business. Should have been a gunsmith.
