This video demonstrates the true meaning of gun control. Obama needs to watch this. He may learn something, I doubt it, but he may.

WARNING: This video has unedited footage of guns being fired. Wimps, scardycats and left wing joober doobers take care before watching. You may get skeerted!

About $1500.00. Better get one quick, they are on the list of firearms that are going to be banned from import by the BATFE.

I'm looking at semi-auto shotguns for the home. LOS... what do you think of the Mossberg Tactical? I'm thinking that's enough to take out intruders or zombies, without having to go $1500 on a duck hunting gun.

Shotguns aren't the best home defense gun unless you know positively you'll be protecting one room. They are unwieldy if you have to move around. Also, most people don't keep a round chambered and can't resist the urge to rack the shotgun because that's going to scare the pants off any intruder. Mostly maybe. Always nope. What it will always do is let the intruder(s) know where you are and what you have for protection. If it's a hard core home invasion crew they'll just come after you lead first and maybe get you.

Now, if you can reinforce one room with a solid wood or steel door and other fortifications and just remain locked inside it while letting them have the rest of the house a shotgun can be a good option. Otherwise I'd rather have a good pistol or for an amateur a good revolver.

With a semi-auto, you don't "rack one". You pull the trigger a couple of times, then call the morgue.

I might have my wife get a handgun... maybe even a CCW. But for home protection, I want something that is going to do damage even if I miss directly. Plus, there's just something that says "HOLY ****!!! when an intruder hears the crunch of a shotgun, rather than the pop of a handgun. Personally, I'm more apt to listen to someone who has a shotgun loaded with buckshot, than someone with a glock... and I'm sure a burglar would too... just as soon as he craps himself.

Yeah, although with a shotgun at 10-15 feet which can easily happen inside a home, one has to be about as accurate as with a handgun as the spread doesn't really spread until farther down range. And yes, you don't rack a semi auto. I included that as an observation based on many people's ideas about shotguns and home protection. You are probably right for the average burglar but maybe not for a home invasion crew. Everyone should do whatever they think best. This is just an area in which I'm well versed and commenting accordingly.

You can buy shorter barrels for a lot of shotguns, which would be more appropriate for home defense. Of course you can saw them off yourself or have a gunsmith do it - keep in mind the legal length is 18.5". But for someone inexperienced with firearms, a .12 or .16 ga loaded with 00 buckshot is a mean weapon.

Yeah, it's great until the first pull of the trigger when it puts an inexperienced shooter flat on their donkey (no, that isn't a racist remark unless of course you the reader are a racist, it's a synonym for *** which the software censors out) and intruder number 2, 3 or 4 shoots them.

Watch the OP's video, and see how much kickback that shotgun has. They're not like the NC hills moonshine shotguns anymore.

Mossberg shotguns are OK. They tend to rust faster than most but if it is indoors all the time and kept up properly it will do the job.

Better get it quick, they want to outlaw ALL semi-auto's, not just rifles. They don't like pumps either, they are really SICK puppies!

I will say one thing, Obama sure has done a lot to make sure the American citizens rearm! Many had been slacking in their duty but Obama lit a fire under them!
