And to Quite a Few that are sitting in the shadows waiting..........just waiting........for your next permanent banishment.........your "View" doesn't really mean squat to them.

Believe me............there's more out there than you might believe..............or accept.

Out of bounds. Uncalled for. Unacceptable.
Do you think this is in ANY way a legitimate contribution? It's your opinion, yes, but it's also a gratuitous personal attack, for which you have been banned yourself.
Really: how stupid are you?!

There are varying degrees of stupidity so it sounds like a fair question to me.

Stop trying to pretend that you are offended. Besides, even stupid people who say stupid things are able to reach the pinnacle of success.
Here is a top ten count down for one of them:

The President, George W. Bush
10) "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream." —LaCrosse, Wis., Oct. 18, 2000

9) "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." —Greater Nashua, N.H., Jan. 27, 2000

8) "I hear there's rumors on the Internets that we're going to have a draft." —second presidential debate, St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 8, 2004

7) "You teach a child to read, and he or her will be able to pass a literacy test.'' —Townsend, Tenn., Feb. 21, 2001

6) "Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." —Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004

5) "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

4) "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." —Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000

3) "They misunderestimated me." —Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

2) "Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?" —Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000

1) "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

A few more:

''It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.''

''The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries.''

''Over the last 15 months, we’ve traveled to every corner of the United States. I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go.''

''No, no. I have been practicing...I bowled a 129. It's like -- it was like Special Olympics, or something.''

''UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems.''

''Now, what we're doing, I want to be clear, we're not trying to push financial reform because we begrudge success that's fairly earned. I mean, I do think at a certain point you've made enough money.''

''In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed.'' (12 people actually died)

''The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system.'' (Includes one word of truth among the lies)

''We're the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad.''

''If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it's possible that I'm a little too awesome.'' (Some believed that was a joke rather than a statement)

Let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel.

I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future.

What they'll say is, 'Well it costs too much money,' but you know what? It would cost, about. It it it would cost about the same as what we would spend. It. Over the course of 10 years it would cost what it would costs us. (nervous laugh) All right. Okay. We're going to. It. It would cost us about the same as it would cost for about hold on one second. I can't hear myself. But I'm glad you're fired up, though. I'm glad.

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes, and I see many of them in the audience here today.

Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs.

My fear is that the whole island (of Guam) will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.
I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."

"African Americans watch the same news at night that ordinary Americans do."

"The number one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S."

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened."

"Those who survived the San Francisco earthquake said, ‘Thank God, I'm still alive.' But, of course, those who died, their lives will never be the same again."

"[Mary Jo] would have thought about arguably being a catalyst for the most successful Senate career in history ... Who knows -- maybe she'd feel it was worth it."

"The conventional viewpoint says we need a jobs program and we need to cut welfare. Just the opposite! We need more welfare and fewer jobs."

"A zebra does not change its spots."

"Guess what this liberal would be all about? This liberal will be about socializing...uh, um...Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies."

“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly directions.”

This is about RLENT, not about what he said. That is a personal attack. And being on the subject of getting banned for personal attacks from one who has been banned for personal attacks, it was stupid, too. That is just a fact. Asking how stupid is a commonly used expression of incredulity, same as saying "no you didn't!" when obviously, you did.
My reply was about what you said, not about you. That is not a personal attack.
Whether I like you or not [or vice versa] is irrelevant: respond to the words.
Is that simple enough for you?

“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly directions.”
The above "quote" is either from a chain email or one of the wingnut websites you frequent ... it's actually a perversion of something Obama wrote (hence there is little surprise that you would be the one forwarding it, an untruth)

This statement is a rewording of a passage from page 261 of The Audacity of Hope, in which Barack Obama spoke of the importance of not allowing inflamed public opinion to result in innocent members of immigrant groups being stripped of their rights, denied their due as American citizens, or placed into confinement, as was done with Japanese-Americans during World War II. The original contains no specific mention of "Muslims":

In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.

I don't know which of your other "quotes" are also false (likely some) - and I'm not going to bother wasting time checking them - it's simply enough to show that one of them is, to show that you have - yet again - trafficked in lies and falsehoods.

You aren't going to check them all but then condemn me for the same thing. Just what would be expected.

Well, I'm afraid that the above doesn't get you much:

A. I wasn't the person that was presenting them as though they were all true/accurate.

B. I didn't assert that you had presented things which were, all of them, false - but left open the possibility that some more of them likely were - which is based largely on your track record and history, including the one instance that I cited in this thread.

So it's not really "the same thing" ... but I wouldn't really expect you to be able to discern the difference ...
