I just had a second AMU replaced on my M2 model M112 in just over a year. I had to wait 5 days for the part. Had to have it shipped in from Florida. There were only 3 in the entire country. I was told by 2 Frieghtliners that this part is defective and 8-12 months is the norm. Anyone else having a problem?
Part #NRG/12-18208-110R AMU VALVE MOD-SOL. N. O..3

Don't I know it. This is not electrical. It is a mechanical air valve that keeps cracking. I was hoping someone knew some kind of maintenence do hickey I could be doing to stop it from cracking. Freightliner does not know of any. Layoutshooter

No, it is a common term used in "Standard 'Merican English" which is the language we speak in this country, at least for now. There are other technical terms, like, thingamabob, jubber doober, whatchamacallit and hickydoodle to name a few. You are really going to have to learn this stuff if you plan on becoming an American citizen.
