As I start this thread there are 25 guests lurking on these Forums. Each of you must have either a bit or a lot of interest in expediting or you wouldn't be hanging around.

I often wonder if I should "jump in" on some of the topics that are posted on the various forums. But, I have pretty much limited my comments to the more light-hearted topics.

I was in the expedited business for about six years, both as a driver for someone and as an owner/operator. Got out, due to "bum" knees. Now, I haul what Big Bus Bob calls "talkin' cargo". I drive mini-buses, limousines and Town Cars for a chauffeur service, here in Charlotte. I highly recommend it! It's a lot of fun.

Anyhow, that is why I mostly "lurk", since the business has changed so much within the last two years, my information is dated.

The numbers may be a little off. I lurk sometimes unless I am going to put up some of my babble. :7 lol Sometimes I wonder if I should do like freightchaser and stay off the not so light hearted topics. At times, I wonder if folks think I am mean spirited or something.

I don't think so, Jayman, and I like to read other people's opinions. Particularly real people, not columnists in the papers. I hope that you and Freightshaker will keep sharing your thoughts - communication is hazardous at times, (there's probably dozens of people who think I'm an idiot), but it's worth it - it's really nice to know that you're not alone. Even when you are, if you know what I mean. (Ok, make that HUNDREDS of people :+ )
