Well after many years - Canada has finally come to its senses and voted in the Conservative Party. We should start to see a slow - but sure mending of fences with the US over several trade and border issues.

Broad generalization to follow...

I wonder how conservative their conservative party will be. I find our neighbors to the north to be quite liberal and very accepting of having government in their lives in a big way.

Oh BTW.. speaking of liberal rights and too much Government...it's not us Can.thats being wiretapped without warrants (spyed on domestically) and we sure don't have a Patroit Act.

Ontario man it also was not you who were attacked on 9-11 by Terrorist you have them in your own Government interferaring with every decision you make unless you choose to marry someone of the same sex than thats just OK in all of Canada right?

Would much rather have a government listening in on Calls comming in from Alkida than planes into buildings. Common sense or liberal thinking, seen any further attacks on us US citizens at home since? Think NOT.

This whole uproar over wire tapping in order to find out who wants to create harm is ludicrous..I think too much attention is being paid to the warning light and not the warning. Pilots have been known to keep looking at a red light on the instrument panel while they flew the plane into a mountain.

Broompilot...I did not say that the wiretaps were a bad thing. I said that you had them. Personally I see nothing wrong with them. I don't think the Gov really has any interest in gramma Bettys recipes.
