We had a grand time on Grand Traverse Bay on July 5th!
Six of us, including my granddaughter and niece went on a four hour lake trout (char) charter. We fished for 3 1/2 hours had 20 hook ups, boated 18 and kept 8.
We fished with "Showtime Charters" out of Traverse City. "Captain Cam" is WONDERFUL with young children and older people. He was able to teach the "kids" how to handle a rod on the first fish and he knew exactly how to help my 88 year old Dad with getting in and out of the boat without hurting him or making him feel handicapped.

If you want a good fishing trip I suggest you give these guys a try.
