We have had our Lowrance for 3 month now. We where given an external antenna for our GPS and we feel like this a great system. We have found that if the system does not have the address we can make a point very close to what we are looking for. The Lowrance has been very correct in telling us what lane we need to be in for our next exit or what side of the road our customer is on. The Lowrance has several sub menu's one being a RV menu which will tell us where the next Pilot or Flying J is. It is also very handy while driving to look up the next rest area. When updates are available you down load them off of internet. The screen size is also easy to read while driving and has different levels of lighting. We feel like the system is very user friendly. We have found it well worth the money (600.00 to 700.00) and was ranked very high on independent comparison charts.

Never tried their road version. Good information. They should be a excellent system if the road version works as well as the marine version.

There's only one day left but there's a $100 rebate on the 500c if purchased by 1/31. It's top center on the lowrance webpage.

I read somewhere on the Internet that there was a bug in their software that had not been fixed. It was some GPS comparison page where someone took about six or seven different models from different companies and drove from Atlanta to Charlotte. The site has a lot of pictures and written information, but I cannot remember where it was.
