Gowdy takes MSM to the woodshed

We shall see with regards to 'questionable political judgements in executing national security or foreign policies'. Trey Gowdy appears to be on the trail for answers to that. Note his very first question to reporters in the video: Can you tell me WHY Ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benzhazi the night he was killed?

ALLEN WEST HEARD ABOUT BENGHAZI FROM A GUY ON A PLANE WHO KNEW A GUY, AND THAT'S WHAT I CALL 'Q.E.D.'

by REBECCA SCHOENKOPF

Allen West knows the truth about Benghazi, because he was on an airplane and a guy told him he knew a guy who was there, and that the CIA had been told to stand down, and also people are being threatened, and there was a drawing of schematics, impeach Obama QED.

Today as I returned from Detroit, I had a moment that I truly felt was God sent, as I don’t believe in coincidences. It happened on one of my flights, and it was two hours I will never forget.

I was in the bar at a Columbus, Ohio, Radisson once, taking turns dancing with two hot best friend guys, one black and one white, and they were both like 6’4, and they were beer truck drivers, and it was the best night ever.

I was seated beside someone who personally knew one of the men who was there on the roof in Benghazi. This person was excited to share with me the “ground truth” of what happened September 11, 2012.

After I finished dancing with the two hot guy best friends, I met their other buddy, who had just gotten back from Iraq, and he told me that Halliburton (or KBR, I forget) was sending out empty supply caravans so they could pad their measly undecillion-dollar income.

My seat mate drew schematics to orient me to the "time and spacing" and the direction of the attack. I learned about the repeated orders to the men at the CIA annex to stand down and do nothing — thank God two of them, Glenn Doherty and Ty Woods, lived up to their code of honor and ran to the sound of the guns, resulting in their loss of life — but the preservation of life for others, their fellow Americans.

The guy who had just gotten back from Iraq told me the soldiers were very unhappy to be getting blown up escorting empty supply trains, because they would have been slightly more happy to get blown up if they were actually escorting supplies for their comrades, but they weren’t.

I learned about the proximity of the staging area of the attack to the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, and the attackers were indeed Ansar al-Sharia, a group affiliated with al-Qaida. I came to understand why Ambassador Chris Stevens was there in the first place and that he had in fact requested better security but was denied – the question is, by whom? And I learned that the Martyrs of 17 February Brigade were in charge of security and were the ones who opened the gates, then fled.

I learned there are those who are being threatened with their pensions being cut off if they come forth to speak.

Stupidly, I never wrote about the deathly fraud perpetrated by Halliburton (or was it KBR?), because talking to a guy in a Radisson bar was not really "proof," even though he seemed pretty darned knowledgeable about the whole thing — his MOS was giving soldiers (Marines?) their MOS — but thanks to Allen West, I will never make that mistake again.

Yeah, I knew the Allen West article might be a jagged pill to swallow for some. The 'god sent' sentence probably had some perked right up with frothing at the mouth. Here's another though from Seymour Hersh, that was referred to in the previous video . Seymour Hersh, less jagged of a pill, but still a bitter pill for those who want to SWEEP THIS UNDER A RUG.

Here's a thought for all wannabe geniuses:

Try actually reading the byline - before claiming an article one links is actually from Seymour Hersh - the article in question is actually from Pierce Nahigyan ... ;)

(Helpful Hint: the manner in which Hersh is referred to, by name, in the title suggests that Hersh is not the author)

Whether there was a group of journalists in the room or not doesn't matter all that much, unless the room was one of the latest domed stadiums that could possibly hold all the journalists that need to be asked the questions. Having a small fraction of a single percent of those who need to respond in the room has nothing to do with the need to answer the questions.

But it has everything to do with reporting the truth versus reporting fantasy and calling it the truth. If it is the latter then the credibility of everything you see in the video becomes suspect, including the questions themselves, especially since some of those questions were already answered long before they were asked in the video. It causes the video to come off more like a motivational video than it does the honest reporting of a press conference. As badly as news outlets clamor for content, you'd think at least one of the reporters in the room-filled room could have found a spot for a paragraph or two on it somewhere. Western Journalism isn't even a journalistic news organization, it's a Republican propaganda organ, pumping out feel - good messages of inspiration to the choir, and the choir is eating it up.

TORTURE HERO ALLEN WEST JUST ASKING IF LEGLESS VET CONGRESSWOMAN TAMMY DUCKWORTH IS ‘LOYAL’ IS ALL

by DOKTOR ZOOM

west-and-duckworth.jpg

American torture hero and semiemployed former congressjerk Allen West is very, very concerned about this "Tammy Duckworth" person having agreed to be on the Big BenghaziPalooza Special Committee, because how can Americans be sure she actually loves America, and is not some kind of legless traitor like Max Cleland?

On Janet Mefferd's wingnut radio show, which we fear our Editrix may start making us listen to, West said,

I just don’t know where her loyalties lie. You know, for her to have been a veteran, a wounded warrior for the United States Army, she should know that this is not the right thing. And hopefully, you know, she will remember the oath of office that she took as an Army officer and not the allegiance I guess she believes she has to the liberal progressives of the Democrat Party.

Heaven knows, one can’t be both a liberal and loyal to the United States. Doesn’t the military oath oblige you to be a Republican anyway? We're pretty sure it does. You can just see in this photo of Duckworth in her helicopter in Iraq that she’s already contemplating ways to betray the United States for the sake of protecting the Democrat Party.

duckworth-helicopter.jpg

If she really loved America, she’d be pimping a book on Hannity and questioning the loyalties of fellow Americans, the way the Founders wanted.

Should you have the stomach for it, here’s the audio, in which West also notes the unfitness of other committee members like Adam Smith ("one of those geeky little debaters that is going to try to micromanage every single detail") and Linda Sanchez, who is "very whiny." In fact, since Barack Obama sent emails to House Democrats about the IRS, there probably shouldn’t be any Democrats on the committee, as they are all incapable of being as objective and fair-minded as House Republicans.

Besides, isn't this Benghazi hearing just a big distraction from the failures of Obamacare?

. . . it's a Republican propaganda organ, pumping out feel - good messages of inspiration to the choir, and the choir is eating it up.

The choir is eating up the entire new hymnbook with such favorites as:

Hymnal 1) Benghazi scandal - Obama and Hillary are evil!
Hymnal 2) NSA scandal - Obama and the NSA are evil!
Hymnal 3) VA scandal - Obama and Shinseki are evil!
Hymnal 4) IRS scandal - Obama and Lerner are evil!
Hymnal 5) Fast and Furious scandal - Obama and Holder are evil!
Hymnal 6) The gay agenda - Obama and half of our population are evil!
and more.

While these are all entertaining and catchy tunes, it is a shame that some of the old tunes are rarely heard any longer. For example:

1) Capitalism is the most successful economic system in the world!
2) Free markets are essential to the success of capitalism!
3) A limited Federal Government is essential for *free markets!
4) A balanced budget is necessary for a strong economy!
5) Lower taxes can increase economic growth!
5) A strong military and firm diplomacy is our nation's best defense!

Call me old fashion but I still enjoy the old tunes and think they would be much more productive toward winning elections. IMHO.*:(

Judicial Watch is currently running an ad during "Raging Nature" on The Weather Channel. Something along the lines of:

"Call 1-800-XXX-XXXX ... and press 1 if you think Obamacare is the most pressing issue for the American people.

Press 2 if you think the IRS 'Scandal' is the most important.

If you think that the Benghazi 'Cover-up' is most important then press 3"

Evidently these three items are the only possible things, in terms what could be of "most important", for the American people.

I didn't call, but I'm sure that there is absolutely no possibility that there could be a solicitation for money by the good 'patriotic' folks at Judicial Watch anywhere during that call ...

Considering the abundance of low information voters out there today, the mainstream media more so than ever decides what is a scandal and what isn't. The willing accomplices of Obama in the press display their bias by their lack of emphasis or in some cases total lack of reporting on the Obama administration's corruption and lack of competence. The latest example is the recent outing of the CIA Station Chief in Kabul to over 6000 journalists all over the world by none other than the White House Staff. The result from the MSM - a stifled yawn and a few comments from one of Obama's lackeys announcing an investigation "to make sure it never happens again"; the very same plan of action that was announced for the Benghazi disaster, Fast & Furious and all the rest - investigation being the cover they need to keep from talking about their problems.

However, the disclosure of the identity of a CIA Station Chief in a war zone is a huge blunder that could result in loss of life. Compare the MSM reaction for that to the media's hysterical reaction to the "outing" of Valerie Plame - an unclassified desk jockey working in VA. That "outrage" warranted a special prosecutor; the CIA guy in Kabul gets an internal investigation that will never be mentioned again. Watch to see if the VA mess gets a little bit more lip service over the next week or so, then shuffled to the back pages and declared settled just like Benghazi was. That's exactly what will happen unless somebody like Trey Gowdy refuses to let Obama and the MSM have their way.

We also need to remember that no one has been held accountable for anything in B. It remains to be seen if the voters have the will to hold their elected representatives accountable in Nov.

Considering the abundance of low information voters [love the Republican euphemisms, like this one for 'dumb as a box of rocks', lol] out there, I can see why video is so popular.

BTW: the media isn't ignoring the 'oops!' regarding the CIA guy in Kabul, but let's be real here: outing Plame wasn't an accident, it was revenge, and that's definitely more newsworthy, IMO. We can figure out the difference for ourselves, really.

A fan of the national security state - who calls Manning and Snowden traitors for revealing state secrets ... certainly including some which arguably the American people ought to know about - decries the evidently inadvertent release of CIA CoS' name ... and apparently suggests that we ought to have wall-to-wall coverage in the MSM of this ... and whatever CIA operations were going on in Benghazi ... presumably so that we can keep everyone in the entire world fully informed about various covert and undoubtedly classified operations the CIA has been conducting:

Interestingly, it appears that the original incompetence may have been on the part of the ones who are to be revered with the proper worshipfulness under any and all circumstances ... since the list itself was compiled and sent to the White House by the military:

... Wilson said time pressure, a high level of activity tied to the president’s visit and the relative inexperience of the military officers involved could have contributed to the mistake.

"My impression is these were very junior people trying to follow an order, that they don't fully understand or get the ramifications of," he said.

"There were a number of misunderstandings and mistakes, including my own failure to review the list before including it in my email, in my pool report.

"I wish I had, I regret it."

Undoubtedly, this incompetence by our modern day Praetorian Guard will be overlooked and excused by the reverential and fawning worshipers of the warrior caste ....

Given the inability to differentiate between an apparent inadvertent release of the name of a CIA covert officer by some low-level White House administrative lackey and the obviously intentional release of CIA covert officer - done for quite obvious partisan political purposes (in order to further the lies that took us into an illegal war of aggression) by high government officials - the above might just an example of that "low-information voter" thing we've been hearing so much about lately ... particularly given the abject ignorance displayed about Ms. Plame's employment status with the CIA:

Legal documents published in the course of the CIA leak grand jury investigation, United States v. Libby, and Congressional investigations, establish her classified employment as a covert officer for the CIA at the time when Novak's column was published in July 2003.

I'd say the ones who have a problem are those who don't think 40 some bipartisan investigations are enough, myself.
And it will "go away", eventually, just like the 'Family Values' platform, when they finally get it through their heads that they're barking up the wrong tree - it just takes them a lot longer to get there. See, they're slow, but they'll catch up, one day. ;)
