It's Express. Company driver in company van. Stuff generally off a plane.

A friend pointed out that it 's Ground because the EX is green.

It's orange on my phone.
What color is it on your phone ?

The EX Code
Orange EX - FedEx Express, air shipments on FedEx planes. Big or small. Employees.

Green EX- Ground. Pretty much a UPS style/small parcel operation. ICs and small fleets.

Red EX- Freight. Roadway style operation. Non-Union employees that are probably paid more than most Teamsters at this point. LTL.
Custom Critical is now part of Freight, thus our Red EX.

FedEX supply-chain is contract carriage. Not sure of their color. ( Blue ?) I/C or small fleets.

Maybe your friend is color blind. Mine is orange also.

I was gonna point out that the "Ford" was either a Chevy or a GMC, but somebody already caught that.

Question though. I can understand-- maybe-- blowing past a "Road Closed" sign-- but how on Earth do you not see a hole in the road like that one? Unless it opened just as he got there, he had to have seen it in plenty of time to stop-- unless he was texting and driving or something.

Yes. Part of Ground. I/Cs. Really don't know what exactly they do.
I know a guy at Ground with an F series pu, 4x4 ,with a cap.
Delivers in the mountains of Va. Got a package ? He'll call you and say I'll be at the gas station at noon. Can you come get your pkg,or can I leave it with Louie ? Saves lots of time/money doing it his way.
