we drove for a fleet owner named mario and i think you can put his name on here cause its not his real name. the carrier was express 1. our first 2 weeks were great and then everything started to suck with all the short runs that put us in dead areas and in areas where 13 other trucks in the same zip 11 others in the next. to make it short we drove for this owner for 1 month and 2 weeks and went in the whole fast and we dont have that many bills.we worked a notice and we still have not got payed the money he owes us and exprtess 1 will not help.dont drive for mario.

First off, you are correct in that you are NOT allowed to post names on EO. One of the things that pops instantly into my mind after reading your post is this: Did you have a contract with this owner and if so, what are the pay terms? No expedite company will get involved with owner/driver disputes. IF you had a contract with this owner and IF, indeed, this owner did violate the payment terms, then your recourse is to take this owner to court.
First we have drove over the road for 20 years so a month and half is long time when u are getting ****ed on also i know for fact we are not getting payed and the other people did not get payed we are have court perceding now going on. So i know what we are talking about!!! Was just letting people not to fall like the rest of us did. Also company want help , we had to work a 15 day notice and we did it does not matter to this owner.
I say good for you for quitting. There so many bad owners out here that just flat out steal from driver that are new. They use them till they figure out that they are not going to pay them. As far as the company goes doesn't matter which one they are not going to get into it because your an IC which mean your only way to get your money is small claims. And sue him for everything you can get. Thats my thought on it
I've heard stories of this Mario(nickname) guy..another driver @ E-1 was speaking of an owner that also heard that was kind of rough around the edges...
