New project I am taking on being that Jesse Ventura has been covered...(just kidding Phil don't get azz dandruff).
Lawrence is doing a major vamp of the site (been in the works for some time) and I want to be part of it so....
If it is ok with all I want to do a Pic-A-Day.
All are welcome to participate but I want to post a new pic everyday (or at least where air card will allow) of places I got to see because of Expedite..
Whatcha think??
Ok with this??
1st pic Santa Rosa NM sunrise at a campground you can get to (with plug ins yadayadayada)

OH BTW
I want to take pics of expediters and their vehicles so if some douche from a blue Volvo walks up with a Canon strap round his neck please indulge him (or do the hand wavey thing at neck level and I will understand)....

Mike,

I think that is a wonderful idea! You have a great eye for photography and I always look forward to seeing your pics.

Ah.. Mike... all the pictures of my 'super duper apartment on wheels with a 5 foot box that is shiny, brightly painted with more shiny wheels' expediting truck will have to go through my publicist and legal department so they can some up with a release for you to sign. Please do not request any autographs or pictures of the driver or special equipment.

Although maybe a picture of my auxiliary truck with the chipped paint and flaking powder coating is possible.

Of course I'll have to clear it with the Cheri1122 Legal Dept, (who will deny your request on any bad hair days, you understand), but I'd be happy to oblige if possible.
And I absolutely LOVE the idea of a "Pic a day"!:)

Now for a small stipend we can dispense with all of the legal stuff,say about $10 for a B unit,$15 for a C, $20 for a D and $25 for a E.

I thought the pics were awesome guys. This pic is one of me. It shows you what can happen when you get to hot untarping a load in summer and pass out and the trailer breaks your fall.

Yeah I felt myself getting dizzy and I thought I better get in the truck and cool off maybe drink some water. So I start walking to the truck. Next thing I know I'm in an ambulance and with a pounding headache and the emts are emptying gallon jugs of drinking water on me they grabbed at a gas station plus like 3 or four bags of ice. They said when they got to me my temp was like 104. This state trooper came to the hospital and I asked him to call my wife and he did and he also hung out with me for a little while. I just wish I knew the guys name. If I did I'd put him in for a rose in OOIDAs Landline Magazine roses and razzberries section.

Excellent northern lights shot Iceroad. The northern lights are one of Mother Natures most awesome visual treats.

Uh-huh, I get a legal department and now everyone has to have one. I just have to warn you Cheri, I don't know what those guys are saying half the time. You know, "blah, blah, blah, slander. Blah, blah, blah, litigation. Blah, blah, blah, monetary compensation..."

I think that would be a neat idea. I really like your pictures. What kind of camera do you have? I've taken some photos of things when out on the road, and always enjoy seeing other people's. I really like the different angles you take pics from. They're pretty neat.

I just got this one, http://www.olympus-esystem.com/dea/products/e510/ and really like it. I got the one with 2 lenses. I'm going to upgrade to their higher quality lenses at some point but have no complaints with it as is. You can get a lot of good info at http://www.dpreview.com/ and
http://www.digitalcamera-hq.com/digital-cameras/ and www.popphoto.com as far as reviews and critiques. A couple of online stores are http://www.dpreview.com/ and www.bhphotovideo.com although there are many others. I've ordered from beach and had good results.
