i am sure that many of the long time readers of this forum have at some time or another saw where geo has recommended taking your truck and or generator to TSI western star in n. jackson, ohio.well iam here to tell you that that is very good advice.
while TSI's expertise is in pro heat generators and i myself have an AUX unit, they were only to happy to try and resolve my problem.
due to AUX's poor engineering of their system and the fact that they mount their mufflers on the bottom of their units,it didn't take very long before the muffler was destroyed by some of the off level docks that we all find ourselves backing into occasionally.
anyways i made a call to TSI and was able to get the truck right in and the work was top notch.everyone has the high shop labor rates, but i don't mind paying it if i can get good quality work in a timely fashion.
this work was a complete redesign of the exhaust system to where the muffler is now mounted up on the truck's frame rail, far away from contact with the ground.
so thanks for the good advice geo,it was appeciated.and be sure and give bill moore or his service mgr. kevin shaulis a call for any of your genset problems.
