Gear Vendors under/overdrive Trucks / Towing, Chevrolet /GMC, Dodge / Dodge RAM, Ford auxiliary transmissions.

has anyone here used this or have one on their truck? turns your 4 speed into an 8 speed with a double overdrive. apparently the ford 4.6, 5.4 and 5.0 do not have the tq to pull the double od. maybe this is for you folks with the v-10 and diesels to think about.

I had one on my dodge 3500, it worked ok but the present owner told me last year he tore it up after he increased the power and replaced the turbo. He was pulling 8k when it went out on him on that little hill west of Denver.

So I would think that it would hold up to a factory pickup but not to anything larger like my little truck.

Should work okay behind a Duramax or Powerstroke equipped van I would think?

Change fluid every 5000 miles???? That could be every other week for alot of folks!
