GCWR: Gross Combination Weight Rating is the total weight of a loaded vehicle and trailer.

I'm guessing that GCVW stands for Gross Combination Vehicle Weight which also would include the total weight of a loaded vehicle and trailer.

you might mean...Gross Vehicle Weight Rating? the weight of cargo and the van? look on the drivers door jam. there is a sticker from ford stating this information.

the std ford e350 should go 9660#.

my2003 Ford E-350 has a GCWR of 9,400 with the 7.3 diesel in it.If youre wanting to know how much you can haul, put everything in it, including you, fill the fuel tank up, and weigh it, then subtract that # from the gcwr of 9,400.Mine weighs 7,500 empty, full of fuel, me and contents, which means I can haul 1,900# and it is working out very well for me.

Would anyone happen to know what the GCVW on a Ford E 350 Cargo van with a 7.3 diesel is?

The key letter in GCVW is the C: standing for combination. Meaning what the van is rated for loaded and pulling a loaded trailer. G.M. lists it as GCWR: Gross Combination Weight Rating.

GVWR Gross Vehicle Weight Rating only includes the total weight of the vehicle, loaded.

Jr, if you are only interested in the gross weight of your van and not the combination with a trailer, then go with what Guido posted.

I need to correct myself here. The door jamb sticker says GVWR 9,400, not GCWR 9,400
