No one is talking about an accurate number but we know that it is in a certain range of around 2-4%.

Why does one have to come out ?

If I met you I wouldn't be inclined to tell you my sexual preferences.

Why can't you be Ben and I be Bob. If you see me making out with an 85 year old lady, or, guy, you'll know what I'm in to. Why do my preferences matter to a casual acquaintance ?

If some dude wants to hook up with another dude, do it. I don't need you to warn me.

They are controlled studies and polls, the studies aren't done by Fred Phelps standing there with a Bible and a gun on the sidewalk. This idea that gays should be afraid to be openly gay is very outdated.

You can deny, deny, deny, but the numbers are what they are. :D

The sore thumb sticking out, however, is Washington, D.C., where residents watched more porn per capita than any other state last year, by a lot. The seat of the U.S. government watched 14.18 videos per person. That may not sound like a lot, but it’s almost twice the 7.52 videos per person watched in the number 2 spot. You tax dollars at work.
Yep - the numbers are what they are: the percentage of African-Americans in Washington DC is 50.7%. It's also safe to say that our nation's capital isn't exactly a bastion of WASPs, but has the highest percentage of lawyers making up its population.

Here's something to add to the above numbers: when put to the test in the privacy of a voting booth, gay marriage has been rejected by a vast majority of the states'. Gay marriage is legal or permitted in only 10 of the 50 states.

Same-sex marriage in the United States

Yes, but keep it in perspective: the Tea Party/Christian right wing wave created a lot of new laws at the state level [without input from voters] against gay marriage, which are now being overturned.
The demographics are clear, whatever statistics or poll you cite: voters are more accepting of gay marriage with every year that passes. Young voters most, older ones least, but the trend is clear: Americans are accepting the right of gay people to marry, just as the rest of us do.
I only hope they do a better job of keeping those marriages going than the heteros have - but they won't, of course, because they are [otherwise] just like the rest of us.
Heteros didn't do a great job of defending marriage when it was just us doing it, sigh. I applaud anyone who can make it work!

Bringing race into the numbers is pretty much meaningless, since the numbers don't measure race. Introducing a some variable in order to find a correlation, for some political purpose, is at the very least junk science. Trying to establish blacks as the cause of the high numbers, instead of conservatism and religion, is a gasp, because it doesn't correlate to human nature, or reality.

Human nature dictates the more something is restricted, sex, porn, religious conservatives, the more people go after it.

Reality, because blacks have dramatically disproportionately less access to computers and the Internet, especially in the South.

These laws were proposed by state legislators and were approved by voters at the polls - overwhelmingly. They've been overturned in a few instances by judges who are sympathetic to the homosexuals' agenda, ignoring the will of the majority of the people.

Yep! Three types of lies: white ,black & statistically lies. Like the accountant that got the job over 3 of his competitors because they were asked what is 2+2 and they said 4. He said what do you want it to be?:)
Does anyone really believe PornHub is a credible source of statistical information? Has anyone mentioned that the state at the top of their list (MS) also has the highest percentage of African-Americans of the 50 states, and the state at the bottom (MT) the smallest - and that Southern states have a higher percentage of African-Americans in general (see map below)? Note the top 6 states on the link below: MS-LA-GA-MD-SC-AL. So what does this prove...NOTHING, other than statistics can prove anything.

First of all it's obvious that this is a radical left-wing website, to say nothing of this author. Just look at the "popular articles" in the column on the right. Secondly, they brought race into the numbers; when they refer to "them good ol' boys" and "right-wing nut jobs" it's safe to say they're not talking about the black ministers or the Mexican farmhands.
Human nature dictates the more something is restricted, sex, porn, religious conservatives, the more people go after it.
With the advent of the internet, sex and porn isn't restricted any more. In reality southern states aren't nearly as backward as California computer nerds think they are.
Reality, because blacks have dramatically disproportionately less access to computers and the Internet, especially in the South.
That's doubtful, especially considering the access to smartphones by all segments of the population. It certainly wouldn't apply to Washington DC. Internet access by blacks in the South is probably no worse than that of poor whites.

African Americans and Technology Use | Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project

This article from PornHub and Buzzfeed is based on junk science, and its purpose is nothing more than advancing a liberal, bigoted viewpoint. The sources of gay porn searches can not be proven to come from "them good ol' boys" any more than African-Americans or horny college guys.

It means the majority of the voters didn't support gay marriage, contrary to what some pollsters would have us believe.
It really doesn't matter what the majority of voters support or don't support.

Like I said before, We don't live in a majority rules society.

We currently live in a society where left-wing judges overturn legislation which represented the will of the people.

Do you believe that those "Fine Jurists"give a crap about your rights? Think they will defend the Second Amendment? What about the first? We already know they care NOTHING about the 4th or 5th. You can respect anti-Constitutional scum?

The are FAKES! They could care less about human rights. They are ONLY concerned with protecting their "Leader". Starting with that commie pig Roberts.

I do, too, but all too often they aren't doing that. Judicial activism happens when decisions are based partly or wholly on the judge's personal opinion or on political considerations, rather applying the law impartially according to it's meaning or precedent. Granted, conservatives scream "activist judge!" whenever a decision is rendered in which they disagree, but if the decision is based in law and precedent, they're just whining. However, all too often these days judges are using creative interpretations of the law, not to protect minority rights, but to further a political or persona agenda. Conservative judges do it, too.

We don't live in a majority rules society. Never did.

Republics are not set up for majority rule, they are for making sure, individuals rule.

Moral societies are self governing. An immoral populace needs constant rule.....because they have no rules to self govern. It happens every time.
