gas mileage 4.6 or 5.4

I am looking at a used 2008 ford econoline. Can anyone tell me what kind of gas mileage they get with either the 4.6 or the 5.4 gas engine. Thanks, Marty

marty, fuel mileagee is covered here in many threads.

05 ext 4.6, 16-18 depending. no power no glory too small.

Get the 5.4 and you'll be happier with the power and the gas mileage will be the same or slightly better than the over worked 4.6
