They are saying that fuel prices are the highest in 7 years...I sure do miss the days of my president Trump.
They may of been mean....however, the harsh truth can sting at times..what I love about him...he ain't no sugarcoating forgetful pansy like forgetful Joe is.
However, people that didn't care for President Trump's tweets always had the choice not to read them, either..

We had a mayor like trump....he got things done.
Hes coming back because the last 4 Democrat mayors have done very little other then keep the pools open in the summer. It's only when they are up for reelection that roads get paved/fixed.

We still have brick roads from when Toledo was first built as underlayer for our roads.....and get this we still have WOODEN pipes and valves for water/ sewage lines here and are only replaced when they fail.
Socialism in the making, right? Just like what the Dumbocrats are doing to this country. People have got to be crazy not to see this Dumbocratic trend.

What difference does it make? This is why so many have left this website to begin with. People with nothing better to do than disect posts, bicker...besides, you are a retired expeditor, right? Why let "off topic" posts bother you?...lol..
It matters because it was multiple conservative voices. If it was multiple leftist comments it would be fine.

Yes alot of us have gotten off the road permanently but we do try to help others when new people ask but they don't often like what we have to say.....all they hear is how much they might make and not the dirty secret that they have to do real work to make that money.....or how much is needed to even start in this business.
You are absolutely correct. Yes, they need the un-sugar coated brutal truth, not the fairly tale version of this business painted picture that some recruiters and fleet owners may give them.
Capitalism 101:
When covid hit, the demand dried up, oil went negative and the production went way down. As things opened up, there was still of a threat of more shutdowns so they cautiously ramped up production, but it is not enough to meet the demand so prices go up.
Couple that and the fact that they can fill up a tanker with fuel and get way more for it in Europe than they can here and that make our prices stay high, that is what is called a win win situation for them.
