Garmin GPS Problems

Is anybody else having problems with their Garmin GPS? I have a model 2720. One of the top of line models. It tends to lose satelite connection quite often, and it also recalculates the route quite often. There have been times when it thinks I am off route to the left or right and it tells me to turn left or right on the next road to get me back on track. This is my third Garmen. I have had similar problems with the others. One time in Canada I had a load going into Canada and the unit wanted me to go back to the US. Officer Friendly on the US side would have been delighted to see me coming into the US with paperwork for freight to go to Canada. Can anyone out there share any problems with the Garmin?
Thanks. :+ :+

We have the 2620 in our other equipment and I upgraded to the 2720 garmin model in my van.
The 2720 does loose satelite more often then the 2620 does. I do not know why.
I will turn the 2720 off for a few seconds when this happens and it will locate satelites when I turn it back on and it will continue with my trip uninterupted. I like the 2720 screen better than the 2620, but the 2620 is better suited for our larger equipment because of the flexability in determing routing.
I have only used the 2720 for 4 months now.

I have been loosing connection way to much lately. So much so that I took my 700 model back and replaced it with newer update.

Not pleased with the improvements old model was more user friendly and recalculated faster. Newer one is like the kid who knows it all but has to find it first is the only analogy I can use to describe it.

This one does not loose its connection as much but still does, a line of trees on both sides of the EXP example like in AL or CT.

Megellan is the brand of the GPS I forgot to put it in the above post. Even though I am not as happy and I am not, I cannot think of being without this tool.
